In my experience a skilled therapist strikes a nuanced balance between unconditional positive regard and gentle invitation to address what isn’t working in one’s life head on. I aspire to do just this. To guide and walk beside clients as they dive into thought patterns, behavioral habits, and relational dynamics.
I value creating a space of safety and empathy where clients feel comfortable exploring subject matter they may not feel comfortable exploring with the outside world. I’ve also found that it’s helpful to have a neutral third party, who does not have an emotional investment in one’s life, to process life’s peaks and valleys and offer insights.

“The soul usually knows what to do to heal itself, the challenge is to silence the mind.”
